A forum? Why? Why not Discord?

Three reasons:

1. My existing players want off Discord due to the photo ID policy (and avoid similarly invasive alternatives.
2. Threaded conversations invite everyone to read, think, and reply without the urgency of real time chat. Each has a purpose and benefit. I want to encourage more deliberate conversations (and better search).
3. Nostalgia for the Internet we had 20 years ago.

I'm paying for the hosting and doing the admin so we can have this kind of fun!
